Mig Gilbert is a contemporary printmaker living and working in Brighton.
Mig’s art reflects on the small differences that give cities their own alluring character. She utilises the screen print process to densely layer photographic, hand drawn and found imagery to create the cacophony of colours, sounds and smells that are discovered when exploring someplace new.
Her prints are usually variable edition, meaning each composition is unique, mimicking the constantly changing perspective when travelling through the urban landscape.
