About the course
Covering a range of approaches to create one-off mono silkscreen prints on both paper and fabric, embrace the spontaneous nature of this wonderful process to capture unique images and patterns. Explore direct painterly mark making, using screenprinting inks, watercolours, water soluble media and found materials. Combine these techniques with paper cut or photo-exposed stencils to explore overprinting to build up prints in layers. This is a perfect workshop for anyone new to printmaking, painters wanting to try out screenprinting or for printmakers looking to loosen up their style. All skill levels welcome and encouraged. Cancellation Policy
Course cancellations need to be made 28 days in advance via email for a refund and will be subject to a £10 administration fee. Cancellations after this period will be subject to an administration charge of 50% of the course fee. Short notice cancellations made 7 days or less before the start of the course are non-refundable. If you cannot attend a course but have a friend or colleague that can take your place instead then there will be no admin fee for transferring the place.
